5.7 Inch Essen Staunton Set features a chess board made from walnut and maple wood. It has a  1.77″ square that will comfortably fit a king 3.5″-4″ in height. The chessmen have a 3.6″ king and are hand-carved from hornbeam. They have been weighted and felted at the base for a smoother chess experience. This set will suit any chess player and stay solid and strong for years to come.
