3″ French Knight Chessmen Ebonised are a great example of the best traditions in the French Staunton style. Their exquisite quality is so much more than you would expect from a modestly priced set. The black pieces are ebonised, which means they are finished to resemble real ebony, but they are also available in the brown (acacia) version, as well as different sizes.
