Beautiful looking pieces, I was concerned they would be too light and flimsy but that is not the case at all. These are extremely quality pieces crafted in Poland. The chess board is beautiful high quality and doesn’t scratch. It is super helpful to have the notation marked for recording games and learning how to improve. The only thing I wish was included was a case to protect the board.

I wanted a chessboard that would serve as a decorative piece in my formal room as well as being suitable to play. My boyfriend and I have a continuous game going, whenever we walk through the room we will move another piece. This chessboard not only looks beautiful but it is nice and stable, and the pieces are lovely. It has an interesting combination of the brass pieces with wooden board. I love it!

Great chess set. I wanted something better than the cheap toys you get from Walmart and wasn’t disappointed. The pieces have a little heft to them, and make a nice thunk on the board when making moves. The only thing that would make this set perfect is if the cast lines on the brass pieces were better brushed.

Very nice brass pieces, traditional design, and board/box has plenty of room for storage of pieces.
Large enough to enjoy playing, and small enough to easily use as traveling set.
I purchased this as a gift for my adult daughter and did not want a cheap plastic set.

This set is made with professional craftsmanship, If you are like me and enjoy playing hours of chess with your family and friends then this is a great board, the pieces are kept within the set making it easy for storage.
