The Royal Chess Set is made from solid hornbeam and sycamore maple. The attention to detail is amazing. The runners have pronounced, aggressive features with a well-defined mane and enlarged nostrils. The beautifully weighted, balanced and coated figures are handmade from solid sycamore wood. The collapsible chess board has two felt-lined compartments for storing the chess pieces inside.
